Congratulations!
As you stumble out of the dark tunnel which took you from the gallery, a concerned looking police officer is there to meet you.
"You did it! The house unlocked all of a sudden!"
You show him the mysterious artifact and the knife. He looks at the knife closely, and reads an inscription on the handle: "To my mischievous niece, always cooking up trouble. -Uncle Richard"
Congratulations, you have escaped the Mystery of Murder Manor!

Police Brief
The year is 1929, and the eccentric Dr. Karl Freidrich, renowned archaeologist, has been murdered. The police arrived to find Dr. Freidrich’s staff, as well as a number of notable socialites, collectors, and political figures had gathered at the house for a gala, celebrating Dr. Freidrich’s recent return from a far off dig. Following protocol, the police removed the body and interviewed the witnesses, both guests and staff. However, at midnight, the police fled the house, claiming to have heard the whirring of gears, and doors slamming themselves shut. It would appear that Dr. Freidrich, ironically, had a deadman switch, which turned the house into an elaborate safe. Every hour, on the hour, the house resets, locking the doors and ejecting any who remained within. The police now refuse to set foot inside the manor. The head detective on the case has reached out to you, a group of investigative specialists. You will need to enter the house, traverse the traps, shut off the deadman switch, and maybe solve the murder in the process.
You have 1 hour to solve and escape The Mystery at Murder Manor!
